Robbi Meertens is a transdisciplinary artist, composer, and sounddesigner. Through different ways of listening and a minimalistic approach, Robbi’s work invites bodies, materials, and spaces to speak for themselves. Inspired by the unfathomability of physical sonic phenomena, Robbi crafts performances, compositions, installations, workshops, and other experiential events. These interactions often aim to invoke unpredictability, slowness and stillness, hopefully creating space to re-engage with environments and perceive them in new and/or meaningful ways.

Currently, Robbi is fascinated by complex feedback systems and how perception, intention, and human action form part of material feedback loops.
