Robbi Meertens is an artist focusing on performative sound art, experimental music and transdisciplinary composition. By researching various ways of listening and a preferably minimalistic approach, he aims to invite bodies, materials, and spaces to speak for themselves. His work plays with apparent juxtapositions like; the ethereal/physical, simple/unfathomable, Voice/Noise and ultimately questions the human experience of, and thus position towards, (sonic) events, materials and environments.
